The first pricing option is the ‘Showit' plan. This is perfect for small businesses that are just starting out or do not plan on incorporating a blog for a while. The pricing for this option is $19/mo or $228 annually.
If this is your first website, or if you are on a tight budget- this is a great option for you.
This plan includes: Showit website builder, HTTPS Secure Certificate, Hosting with 20G of media storage, regular design backups every 10 minutes.
Pros aka ‘Why I love this plan':
• You are able to launch a bit faster, since Showit does not have to migrate or setup a blog for your website.
• This is the cheapest option of the three.
Cons:
• You are not able to blog.
• You can not add WordPress plugins to your website.
Showit Pricing Option 2- Showit & Basic Blog
The second pricing option is ‘Showit & Basic Blog'. This plan is great if you want to start a new blog or you do not need to migrate over more than 50 posts from a previous WordPress or Squarespace blog. The pricing for this option is $24/mo or $288 annually.
If this is your first blog or if you want to start from scratch with a new blog, this is a great option for you.
This plan includes: Everything from the basic plan, plus: a WordPress blog, hosting by WPEngine, daily blog backups, support for Showit blog design, Showit pre-installed plugins, simple blog migration (up to 50 posts).
Pros aka ‘Why I love this plan':
• You are able to have a WordPress blog connected to your Showit website.
• The Showit team will migrate up to 50 previous blog posts.
• You can use the pre-installed plugins that Showit sets up.
Cons:
• You can not bring more than 50 blog posts from a previous blog.
• You are not able to install any plugins on your own.
Showit Pricing Option 3- Showit & Advanced Blog
The third pricing option is ‘Showit & Advanced Blog'. This plan is great if you want to migrate more than 50 posts from a previous WordPress or Squarespace blog, or if you want to add custom plugins. The pricing for this option is $34/mo or $408 annually.
If you have previous blog content that you want to migrate over or if you plan to install a custom plugin(s), this is a great option for you. This is the plan that I use and recommend.
This plan includes: Everything from the ‘Showit & Basic Blog' plan, plus: a free advanced blog migration, ability to add custom plugins (like ecommerce or SEO plugins).
Pros aka ‘Why I love this plan':
• You have the most flexibility with your WordPress blog, and can install any plugin that you need or want. (Although I don't recommend going overboard with plugins, as it slows down your website).
• The Showit team will migrate more than 50 previous blog posts.
Cons:
• This is the most expensive plan of the three.
Other costs
Other than your Showit subscription, you will also need to purchase a domain. I recommend Google or Godaddy for domains.
There are no other required costs for your Showit website, but there are many other third party services that can be incorporated into your website. Some examples of these are: Email marketing services, paid plugins, shopify lite or other ecommerce options, teaching platforms, etc.
You may also choose to purchase a Showit website template instead of starting with a free template. Most Showit templates range from $300-$700.
